In short

NeuroCalm FLX+ is a smoke grey, dual-band wavelength-selective ophthalmic lens protected by Indian Patent No. 587746. It is dispensed after an in-person assessment by participating eye-care professionals, not sold online. Professionals can request the patent documents, the patentee-reported optical figures and dispensing notes by email; no patient data is required.

What you can request

  • The published granted specification IN587746 B1 (10 claims), the grant certificate and the examination history.
  • The patentee-reported spectral figures (band averages, batch consistency, ageing tests) and the EN ISO 12312-1 table with the laboratory status stated plainly.
  • Dispensing considerations: filter category 2 tint, luminous transmittance about 21 to 25 percent, daytime use, not suitable for twilight or night driving, prescription and format availability as confirmed by the company.
  • The company technical note on the dual-band design rationale (Zenodo, DOI 10.5281/zenodo.19547790), labelled as rationale rather than evidence.

The assessment-based pathway

The lens is provided through participating practices after the wearer has been examined. The examination is the clinician's own and should look for treatable causes of light sensitivity before any tint is considered. Participating locations are listed on the locations page only after written verification; the list is empty until then.

Practices interested in assessing and dispensing NeuroCalm FLX+ can write to the company. Please include the practice name, city, the clinician's qualification and the services you would offer (assessment, dispensing or both). Do not include any patient information.
